Early Morning Showers

I absolutely love the rain. The air smells different during a rain fall. The sound of rain drops on a roof top is one of the most relaxing sounds, ever. Rain changes everything. The tempurate drops slightly. It's not a lot, but enough to feel it. You can smell the dirt as the rain wets the ground. It changes the sound of cars driving across the wet pavement. Rain fall is beautiful to watch. A simple rain, with no thunder, and no lightnening is completely calming.

It is six in the morning; just before the sun rise. The sound of the rain falling to the ground mixed with the soft chatter of birds chirping and the slight breeze that rustles the leaves on the trees is enough to send me into a deep, restfull sleep.
